The kitten passed away...

The kitten did not make it after all.....

Found it lying motionless at the multi-storey car park the other day.

It was after a heavy storm that I came down to the car park to feed the rest. And there at a corner saw it lying there all drenched....stiff and gone...

Given the me months back, I'd probably have sobbed on the spot....but I have grown stronger now. Understanding life and death is not within my hands of control.

Anyway, people walking past could have seen it lying there, but none bothered to remove it.

I picked it up using a piece of newspaper, wrapped it and placed it into the big bin nearby.

It's too bad that it didn't make it. But it sure did make its way to heaven.

Now it's one kitten left. I hope he survived better!

Pray for their protection.

That kitten made it

Last week, I saw a freaked out and scared to death kitten struggling to avoid humans.

Tried to get near it to help, it simply zoomed off to somewhere and I could not find it anymore.

Just days later, mom told me that she saw a kitten on her floor level - 7th floor - crying badly and mom tried to get near it but it freaked and ran off. Immediately I knew it's the same poor kitten trying to find safety. Adviced mom to leave some food and water at her level and hopefully the kitten will come by quietly to eat and drink a bit. Mom said that it cried till lose voice already....poor fellow. Don't know if it's a boy or a girl, can't tell from far.

Mom was concerned, me too. But we can't do much. mom was hoping that I could catch it, but not easy, so I told her we shall wait and see if it will survive this period of running and hiding and freaking.

Then, days later, as I was walking to dad's van, I saw it! It was with another kitten in the multi-storey car park. It seemed much calmer and so much less freaky. Praise God! mom must have prayed. I did too. God answered!

This morning, I saw it again. It was playing with a tissue paper and when saw me, ran off to hide. I left food at the car that is closest to it. Am sure it will come and eat once I walk off.

I pray that it will grow up to be healthy and street smart! and that the rest of the cat gang living in the multi storey car park will get along with it just finE!
Glory to God! He gave the kitten a hope and new friends!

WSI course coming to en end

With Swim Fan started and planning for our swim business, time gets even more precious.

So much in mind and so much to do, so much inspiration.

Some cats still unspayed, but God knows my heart.

Things have been just EXCITING so far.

All things are possible with God. He restores and He renews! Nothing is unknown to Him!
The name cards are out, the web site is waiting for me to fill in the blanks, business strategies planned and just waiting to be carried. T shirts waiting to be printed.
So much in my mind.
And there is cell group to help, TV ministry to help, last 3 pool lessons with Maggie, 2 more theory lessons with her and I am all set to start taking in students! ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!

How did the trapping go last night?

While Dash is comfortably resting at home, I left home to get ready to trap cat.

As planned, I was there at about 730pm. She was there waiting.

Came out with the trap, she came, and later, the boys too. That's when distraction came and several times, the young lady almost went into the cage totally. She went in a little, came out again.Went in a little and then came out again. Twice the cage snapped without her inside!!! Aiyo. She is smart or what...

Used up 2 cans of wet food, the boys of course had a good time slurping the food together with the lady.

After almost an hour, I gave up, she was full by then...aiyo...

I didn't give up.

If I can't get her, I'd get the white boy right opposite the road.

God is always good even when things don't turn out as planned; His plan will work better for sure. His timing too.

The white boy was of course an easy trap. He went in and snapped we are on our way to the vet All within an hour.

Met a girl with a stray at the back of the vet. She was visiting the cat which is FIP positive. She seemed sad. My Sam and Ginger died of FIP too. I understand how she felt. Nevertheless, the cat will not make it, told her to put it to sleep as there is no cure for FIP. Wish her well and the cat will get to play with mine in heaven soon. Amen!

Saw the Young Lady Cat Last NIght

Snow enjoys snugging into my wardrobe to find warm places to sit and nap. Problem is she sheds and I have to clean after her at which ever spot that she picks for the nap lo. My cats keep me active in cleaning up my lovely home. Good routine, keeps me away from laziness.

Well. Back to the Young Lady Cat's trap tonight.

Talk about last night's site survey first. I was there around 8pm. She was there together with the other boys waiting for me - I mean waiting for their food.

She eats a lot. She carefully runs to me and around me. I watched her eat the whole can food in just a minute or even less right at the entrance to the drain hideout. tonight I would likely place the trap right there where she seemed to feel safest. I would also load the cage with the bait and so on before getting it into the van. I will drive the van to the carpark behind my block for loading of the cage; then drive out to the corner of the MCP and place the cage in the drain area. Set the cage trap ready and then wait for her to show up. The boys will be there with her for food. So, I will have to be patient in leading her out and away from them to the trap while making sure all of them get their share of wet food. That should work tonight.

Say a prayer again.

Angels, go out there to get her waiting for me. Set the drain area clean for me. Clean enough to place the cage and have it sit steadily so that the Lady Cat will notice it and the wet food in it!
Lord, I pray for beautiful weather this evening, no human traffic or vehicle traffic at the trapping site.Let the trap be quick and super successful. In Jesus' mighty name, AMEN!

How to Trap This Young Lady Cat

Milo loves sleeping on the kitchen top. The place where I found her is already demolished - the old Clementi Bus Interchange. The new should be coming up soon. I am so glad she is with me now and many more years ahead. My darling.

Tomorrow night is set to trap this young female cat. She is too careful - good for her safety out there on the streets; but tough for me to figure out just how am I going to trap her since she is so careful with where she goes and what she touches. Just which spot should I place the trap? drain? carpark area? Where oh where?

Say a prayer first.

Lord, I do not know how to go about trapping this cat tomorrow. Where to place the trap and whether she will actually show up where I think and hope she would. I have been imagining how I can go about setting the trap right and get her in for sure; yet I am not confident that all that I plan is going to come to past. Lord, please help me help the cat. I want to succeed in getting her tomorrow night, using the right time, right place and right technique. I pray that she will not get pregnant during this couple of days. Angels, go set the place and prepare the trapping for me. Lord, I ask that I be led through this trapping, that I will hear and discern what is to do and not to do and be sharp to act on site.

In your name I commit the trapping once again and always. Amen and Amen.

God heals !

Fed a gentle tempered black white cat this morning. He was abandoned by his previous owner.

Anyway, he injurded his front limb last week. The whole limb was swollen and he had to limp to come for his food. As always, it is dangerous for a stray to be in a weak condition - they tend to get attacked by dogs or worst, humans who think they own the world...

Days ago, i held his limb and prayed. Oh Lord, you have healed all those injured cats that i have prayed for; you have healed them one by one! The same healing I ask for this cat, let him be healed! In Jesus name! Then I went home.

This morning, he came for food as usual.

His limb no longer swelled! He could walk properly too! Yahhoooooo!!! Thank you Lord, You heal him!
